TRIUMPH TR4
This is a major restoration project which to date has included over 100 hours of work carried out by our highly skilled panelbeater in our Bodyshop and 65 hours in Body Restorationshop.
Initially, all body fittings and chromework were removed and the bodywork assessed. Repairs were made to areas of panelwork including cutting out damaged metal and replacing with new metal which was then welded into place. New front chassis panels and sills were made and fitted along with a new boot lid. New wire wheels were also fitted and the radiator was re-furbished. At this point the TR4 was ready to enter the Restorationshop.
Here the bodywork was stripped of paint and prepared for primer. Many hours of preparing, sanding and priming later the TR4 was ready for its finish coat in Damson. Several coats of two pack solid paint were used to attain the original glorious lustre. After the paintwork had been completed the chassis was painted and waxoiled.
The re-upholstered interior has now been refitted along with the bonnet and chromework.
NB This car as now been sold.
